Apgar Campground is located in cedar and Douglas fir with some underbrush and open areas on the banks of the Lochsa River. There is fly and spin fishing for trout allowed in the river. Wildlife in the area includes deer, elk, moose, and bear. There are 7 single sites with a maximum spur length of 22 feet.
