Directions: To reach Smithfield Canyon Campground from Tremonton, take Highway 102 east for 1.1 miles to Highway 13. Follow Highway 13 north for 1.8 miles take the ramp towards Garland. Turn right onto 12800 Road it will become East Garland Road continue straight for 3.1 miles to Highway 30. Follow Highway 30 for 16.8 miles to Logan. From Logan follow Highway 91 north for 7.1 miles to Smithfield. The campground is located 5 miles northeast of Smithfield on Forest Route 049.

To reach Smithfield Canyon Campground from Preston, follow Highway 91 south for 19.6 to Smithfield. The campground is located 5 miles northeast of Smithfield on Forest Route 049.
