To reach Highway 89 from Tremonton, take Highway 102 east for 1.1 miles to Highway 13. Follow Highway 13 north for 1.8 miles take the ramp towards Garland. Turn right onto 12800 Road it will become East Garland Road. Continue straight for 3.1 miles to Highway 30. Follow Highway 30 for 16.8 miles to Logan and take Highway 89 northeast.
To reach Highway 89 from Preston, take Highway 91 south for 26.7 miles to Logan and take Highway 89 northeast.
