Aiea Bay State Recreation Area
This area encompasses six acres of land on the eastern shore of Pearl Harbor. Recreation opportunities at this site include picnicking, photography and biking.

Keaiwa Heiau State Recreation Area
This is an excellent place to camp near Honolulu. Hiking, picnicking viewing the historic sites and exploring are also very popular within this reserve.

Sand Island State Recreation Area
This state-administered facility provides access to fishing, beach activities, board surfing, camping and picnicking.

Waahila Ridge State Recreation Area
This site is an excellent place for a family picnic with scenic overlooks and hiking available.
