Diamond Head (Leahi) Summit Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
This trail is very steep (gains 561 feet in elevation) and moderately difficult. It is 0.8 miles one way and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.

Kanealole Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles), Trail Systems
This is an easy 0.7 miles trail with an elevation gain of 600 feet.

Keaiwa Heiau State Recreation Area - Hiking In National Recreation Areas
This is an excellent place to camp near Honolulu. Hiking, picnicking viewing the historic sites and exploring are also very popular within this reserve.

Kolowalu Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
This is a difficult 1 mile trail with an elevation gain of 1,100 feet. The terrain here is mountainous, with a dry thick forest canopy.

Makiki Trail - Trail Systems
This is a moderately difficult 1.1 mile trail with an elevation gain of 200 feet.

Maunalaha Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles), Trail Systems
This is an easy 0.7 mile trail with an elevation gain of 500 feet.

Moleka Trail - Trail Systems
This is an easy 0.75 mile trail with an elevation gain of 600 feet.

Nahuina Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles), Trail Systems
This is and easy 0.75 mile trail with and elevation gain of 600 feet.

Ualakaa Trail - Trail Systems
This is an easy 0.53 mile trail with an elevation gain of 400 feet. This is a good family trail.

Waahila Ridge Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
This is a moderately difficult 2.4 mile trail with an elevation gain of 500 feet.
