Akaka Falls State Park - Hiking In State Parks
Located on the big island, this 65.4 acre State Park centers around the cascading Kahuna Falls and the free-falling Akaka Falls which plunges 442 feet into a stream-eroded gorge.

Crater Rim Trail - Long Trails (9+ miles)
This is an all day, 11-mile hike.

Devastation Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles), Walking & Nature Trails
This is an easy 1 mile round trip. This paved trail takes about 45 minutes to complete.

Earthquake Trail - Walking & Nature Trails
This is an easy, 1 mile roundtrip and takes about 45 minutes to complete.

Halemaumau Trail - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
This is a moderate to challenging 3.5-mile trail.

Iliahi Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
This is an easy to moderate, 1.5-mile loop. It takes 1 to 2 hours to complete this hike.

Kipuka Puaulu Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
This is an easy 1 mile loop. It takes about 1 hour to complete this hike.

Puu Huluhulu Trail - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
This is a moderate 3 miles trip. It takes about two hours to complete this hike.
