Caves, arches, black beaches, sea stacks, blow holes, a native hala forest, and a heiau (religions site) are some of the sites to see within the 122 acres of Waianapanapa State Park. Waianapanapa State Park provides a variety of activities for visitors. Exploring, hiking, swimming, fishing, camping, cabin stays and picnicking are available at this facility.

Facilities: Waianapanapa State Park provides cabins, campsites, picnic tables and restrooms.
Waianapanapa's 12 cabins sleep six people each. The cabins consist of a kitchen/living area, a bathroom and bedroom. Each unit is furnished with bedroom and kitchen furniture, electric range, refrigerator, hot shower, bathroom, linens, towels and cooking and eating utensils.
The Waianapanapa Campground can accommodate up to 60 people.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Waianapanapa State Park. Contact the Maui District of Hawaii State Parks for cabin and campsite reservations.

Best Time To Visit: Waianapanapa State Park is open year round.

Directions: To reach Waianapanapa State Park from Makawao, take Hwy 365 to Hwy 360. Follow 360 to the park. It is three miles north of Hana.
