Aiea Bay State Recreation Area provides excellent views of Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial. The USS Arizona Memorial is a floating memorial which marks the spot where the USS Arizona was sunk in Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941, during the Japanese attack of World War II. The 184-foot-long Memorial structure spans the mid-portion of the sunken battleship.
