Directions: Leleiwi Overlook is located within the Haleakala National Park. Leleiwi Overlook parking area is approximately 7.0 miles (11.3km) above the park entrance station. The trail starts across the street from the parking area.To reach Haleakala National Park from Kahului, take roads 37, 377, and 378. Follow the signs posted along the Highway. The Summit area of Haleakala is a three hour round trip drive from Kahului. Follow the signs posted along the Highway.To reach Haleakala National Park from Makawao, take Highway 365 to Highway 37. From 37 turn onto 377 and from 377 take 378 to the park.
