Directions: To reach Kawaikoi Primitive Campground from Hanapepe, take Hwy 50 to Hwy 550. Follow 550 to Kokee State Park Headquarters. From here drive north on Hwy 550 and turn right on to the second dirt road. This is Camp 10-Mohihi Road. Three and a half miles from this turn is the Kawaikoi Campground. It lies on the left side of the road a short distance before Sugi Campground. A four-wheel drive vehicle is necessary. |
