Halemanu - Kokee Trail begins about one mile south on Halemanu Road. The trail leads 1.2 miles one way through a koa and ohia forest. It ends at Camp Sloggett. From the trail birders will enjoy glimpses of a variety of native Hawaiian birds.

(A four-wheel drive vehicle is necessary on this road if rain is in the forecast.)
