Arkansas Headwaters State Recreation Area - Bird Watching, Wildlife Viewing In National Recreation Areas
This area offers abundant and outstanding opportunities for fishing, rafting, kayaking, picnicking, hiking, camping, mountain biking, and sightseeing among deep canyons, broad valleys and towering mountain peaks. There are five versatile camping areas with over 84 individual campsites.

Arkansas Point Campground - Bird Watching, Wildlife Viewing In National Recreation Areas
This campground is mainly for trailers/RV's. All 95 camping sites have electrical hook-ups. This campground is located next to the Pueblo Reservoir.

Arkansas River - Bird Watching
The trout population in the Arkansas is 90 percent self-reproducing brown trout and 10 percent Colorado River rainbows, which are introduced as fingerlings. Expect about 2,000 fish per mile on the average.

Beaver Creek Wilderness Study Area - Bird Watching, Wildlife Viewing In Wilderness Areas
The twin forks of Beaver Creek rush out of Colorado peaks to converge in one of the richest wildlife habitats in the state. Hiking, fishing, bird spotting, and wildlife viewing are popular here.

Prairie Ridge Campground - Bird Watching, Wildlife Viewing In National Recreation Areas
This campground is mainly for trailers/RV's. All 83 camping sites have electrical hook-ups. This campground is located next to the Pueblo Reservoir.

Pueblo Reservoir - Bird Watching, Wildlife Viewing In National Recreation Areas
Some fish caught are: trout, walleye, large and smallmouth bass, crappie, channel catfish, wiper (a cross between white bass and stripe bass), bluegill, and yellow perch.

Railroad Bridge Campground - Bird Watching, Wildlife Viewing In National Recreation Areas
This campground offer 14 individual campsites, each complete with a tent pad, fire grill and table. Six of these sites are designated as tent camping only, the other eight are for trailers/RV's. There are no hook-ups here.

This campground is mainly for trailers/RV's, although tents are permitted to camp here. All 87 camping sites have electrical hook-ups. This campground is located next to the Pueblo Reservoir.
