Dan Noble State Wildlife Area
This reservoir is a good designation for fish, waterfowl hunting, and a host of recreational activities.

Dry Creek Basin State Wildlife Area
The purpose of this area is for big game hunting & winter range for deer & elk. Small game hunting is for rabbit, dove & sage grouse.

Lone Cone State Wildlife Area
The eastern edge of this State Wildlife Area, boarders the San Juan National Forest, and consequently receives heavy hunting traffic.

San Miguel State Wildlife Area
Located on the San Miguel River south of Placerville, this easement gives anglers access to a short stretch of the river.

Woods Lake State Wildlife Area
This State Wildlife Area is a 160 acre tract of land with a 20 surface-acre lake located within the tract. Self-sustaining brook trout call this lake home.
