Great Sand Dunes National Park
This geologic wonderland, containing 30 square miles of dunes, became a national monument in 1932. A self-guided nature trail and camping and picnicking facilities are available.

San Luis State Park
The 2,369-acre park offers camping, sightseeing, wildlife viewing, hiking, picnicking, boating, fishing and great photo opportunities.
