John Martin Reservoir State Park - Hiking In State Parks
Located in the Lower Arkansas River Valley, visitors come to this park to take advantage of modern campgrounds, great fishing, un-crowded boating waters, diverse wildlife viewing opportunities, and to see historical signs of the past.

Red Shin Trail - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
Hiking, backpacking and mountain biking are allowed on the 4.5-mile trail.

Rock Creek Trail #106 - Long Trails (9+ miles)
This 11.1 mile trail sees moderate usage. It has a beginning elevation of 10,020 feet and an ending elevation of 8,000 feet and transverses through the Medicine Bow/Routt National Forest.
