Arapaho National Recreation Area - Hiking In National Recreation Areas
This area is a 36,000 acre scenic water wonderland in the upper reaches of the Colorado River Valley. The Arapaho National Recreation Area was established by Congress in 1978 and contains five major lakes.

Arapaho Pass Trail #6 - Long Trails (9+ miles)
This trail has been rated "moderate" and has moderate use. Elevation ranges from 8,349 to 11,914 feet on this 10.7-mile (one way) trail.

Baker Gulch Trail #29 - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
This trail has been rated "moderate" and has receives moderate use. Elevation ranges from 8,835 to 12,269 feet on this 5.41-mile (one way) trail.

Bowen Lake Trail #120 - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
This trail has been rated as "moderate" and has heavy use. Elevation ranges from 10,378 to 11,579 feet on this 4.59-mile (one way) trail.

Byers Peak Wilderness Area - Hiking In Wilderness Areas
This is one of Colorado's lesser known and visited areas. Almost half of the wilderness consists of alpine tundra, and thus it is one of the main draws to the area.

Caribou Trail - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
This 4.4 miles trail is rated as "more difficult". It receives light usage, and its highest elevation is 12,100 feet.

Columbine Lake Trail #11.1 - Short Trails (1-3 miles)
The Trail has been rated moderate and has heavy use. Elevation ranges from 10,052 to 11,045 feet on this 2.86-mile (one way) trail.

Continental Divide National Scenic Trail - Long Trails (9+ miles)
When complete, the Continental Divide Trail will climb and descend the peaks of the Rocky Mountains from Canada to Mexico, traversing mountainside meadows, granite peaks and high-desert saddles. Through five states, 25 National Forests, 20 Wilderness areas, 3 National Parks, 1 National Monument and 8 Bureau of Land Management Resource areas- the CDT travels 3,100 miles through America's most dramatic and wild backcountry.

Darling Creek Trail #18.1 - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
This trail has been rated moderate with low usage. Elevation ranges from 8,946 to 12,162 feet on the 6.02-mile (one way) trail.

Doe Creek Trail #9.3 - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
The Doe Creek Trail has been rated moderate with low usage. Elevation ranges from 8,357 to 9,158 feet on the 3.2-mile (one way) trail.

Indian Peaks Wilderness Area - Hiking In Wilderness Areas
This is one of the most heavily used wilderness areas in the US. The area offers a wide variety of recreation for all seasons.

Mount Neva Trail - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
This trail has been rated moderate with moderate use. Elevation ranges from 10,052 to 12,703 feet on this 4.38-mile (one way) trail.

Never Summer Wilderness Area - Hiking In Wilderness Areas
Elevations in the Never Summer Wilderness Area range from 8,900 to 12,524 feet. The area offers a wide range of recreation to its visitors.
