Andrews Lake State Wildlife Area - Fishing In Wildlife Preserves & Refuges
This refuge is located in San Juan County at the elevation of 10,744 feet. It contains an 8.0 surface-acre lake that has an average depth of 13 feet.

Haviland Lake - Lakes & Reservoirs
This lake fishing site is a scenic area located about one mile off US Highway 550. With the Hermosa Cliffs in the background, this is a picturesque area.

Haviland Lake State Wildlife Area - Fishing In Wildlife Preserves & Refuges
This body of water covers 65 surface-acres. This State Wildlife Area produces good fishing for catchable-size (6-12 inch) rainbow & occasionally brook trout.

Jackson Gulch Reservoir - Lakes & Reservoirs
This reservoir is stocked with rainbow trout and provides excellent year-round fishing opportunities. The Department of Wildlife has stocked 10,000 fish this year. Yellow perch are also plentiful.

Lemon Reservoir - Lakes & Reservoirs
This high mountain reservoir sees low to moderate boating use. The beautiful lake is situated west of Vallecito Reservoir.

Navajo Reservoir - Lakes & Reservoirs
Fishing, boating, camping, and wildlife viewing are popular at this State Park. Catfish, crappie and smallmouth bass can be found in the shallows and near the lake surface. Kokanee salmon, northern pike and many varieties of trout are found in deep waters.

Navajo State Park - Fishing In State Parks
This 15,000 surface-acre reservoir extends for 35 miles south into New Mexico. Fishing, boating, camping, and wildlife viewing are popular at this State Park.

Pastorius Reservoir State Wildlife Area - Fishing In Wildlife Preserves & Refuges
This small irrigation impoundment is located southeast of Durango. The reservoir is managed as both a warm and cold-water fishery, with largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegill, and trout. This reservoir is stocked periodically with fingerling and catchable-sized rainbow trout.

Piedra River - Rivers & Streams
The Piedra flows south out of the San Juan Mountains and into the San Juan River to form Navajo Lake. It offers some 40 miles of exceptionally beautiful wild trout fishing.

Puett Reservoir State Wildlife Area - Fishing In Wildlife Preserves & Refuges
This is a warm-water fishery managed primarily for walleye and smallmouth bass, but a few northern pikes can be found as well.

San Juan National Forest - Fishing In National Forests
The San Juan National Forest encompass some 2.5 million acres. This terrain ranges from high-desert mesas to alpine peaks, with many recreational opportunities.

Summit Reservoir State Wildlife Area - Fishing In Wildlife Preserves & Refuges
This reservoir is managed primarily as a warm-water fishery for largemouth and smallmouth bass, and fishing is fair to good for both. This reservoir is periodically stocked with rainbow trout.

Vallecito Reservoir - Lakes & Reservoirs, Ice Fishing
This is a cold water lake with fishing and boating being the main activities.
