Eleven Mile Reservoir
The lake is stocked with kokanee salmon as well as both cutthroat and rainbow trout. Northern pike are plentiful and carp abound in the shallow bays and inlets, providing great bow-fishing opportunities. A few fortunate anglers even take home an occasional yellow perch.

This State Park is known by the locals as a great fishing hole. Rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, northern pike, small-mouth bass and carp are all found within the waters of this 3,400 surface-acre reservoir.

Hornbek Wildlife Loop
The trail to the historic Hornbek Homestead crosses land once occupied by Lake Florissant. The return route overlooks the ancient lakebed and the mountain ranges beyond. Signs of elk, deer, coyote, and other wildlife are common along the scenic loop. This trail measures 4.0 miles and is rated "moderate".
