Rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon, northern pike, small-mouth bass and carp are all found within the waters of this 3,400 surface-acre reservoir. Mueller State Park This park anchors at the west side of Pikes Peak and extends over 5,000 acres. The park offers visitors camping in spectacular forested areas with modern facilities such as flush restrooms and a camper services building. This State Park attracts hikers, bikers, horseback riders, and wildlife spotters. Spinney Mountain Lake Home to trophy-sized cutthroat trout, as well as rainbows, browns and northern pike, Spinney State Park provides excellent belly boating, shore fishing and boating opportunities for anglers. Spinney Mountain State Park This 2,500 surface-acre reservoir serves as an isolated retreat for visitors seeking beautiful views of the Collegiate Mountain Range or just a little solitude from life in the city. Northern pike are plentiful and carp abound in the shallow bays and inlets, providing great bow-fishing opportunities. A few fortunate anglers even take home an occasional yellow perch.
