Holy Cross Wilderness
This wilderness, located on the White River and Pike/San Isabel National Forests, derives its name from its key landmark, Mount of the Holy Cross. There are many constructed trails available for travel through this rugged terrain, which offers moderate to difficult hikes.

Maroon Bells - Snowmass Wilderness Area
This area includes 181,138 acres on the Gunnison and White River National Forests, and offers a variety of recreation for guests. Panoramic high passes, alpine lakes, aspen groves, meadows with wildflowers and jagged peaks greet visitors to this area.
