Wildlife viewing, fishing, and camping are some of the things available in West Lake State Wildlife Area. West Lake State Wildlife Refuge includes one of the small lakes that surround Red Feather Lakes. It is a put-and-take fishery that is stocked with 10 inch rainbow trout. Waterfowl can be spotted here and a Forest Service campground is available.
