Best Time To Visit: Spruce Campground is open year-round. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be incurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Visitors should contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for them. Accessibility: Campsite #14 and the vault toilet in the Spruce Campground are accessible. Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park guests choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply. Directions: To get to Spruce Campground from Glenwood Springs, take Colorado Highway 82 south to Carbondale, then south and southwest on Colorado Highway 133 for 46 miles to the park. From Delta, take Highway 92 east to Hotchkiss, then go north on Highway 133 through Paonia and 16 miles farther to the park. |
