The South Fork Campground is located within the boundaries of the White River National Forest at an elevation of 7,600 feet. This campground offers 17 individual campsites situated in a valley. Fishing in the South Fork of the White River is a popular recreational activity. Three separate hiking trails originate here. Maximum trailer/RV size is 60 feet.

Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, and fire grills are provided at South Fork Campground.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted at South Fork Campground.

Best Time To Visit: South Fork Campground is open from May through November.

Fees: An overnight camping fee will apply.

Accessibility: This campground is not accessible for disabled persons.

Rules: Pets must be restrained or on a leash at all times while in developed recreation areas.

This campground is located within the White River National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Directions: To get to South Fork Campground from:

Glenwood Springs: Drive west on I-70, turn right on CO State Highway 13, travel to Meeker. From Meeker, travel east on Highway 13 for 1 mile, turning right onto County Road 8. Travel 18 miles on County Road 8 to County Road 10 (South Fork Road). Turn right and travel 12 miles to the campground.
Steamboat Springs: Drive west on US-40, turn left onto CO state Highway 13, travel to Meeker. From Meeker, drive east on Highway 13 for 1 mile, turn right onto County Road 8. Travel 18 miles on County Road 8 to County Road 10. Turn right and travel 12 miles to the campground.
