Lake Fork Campground is located near three reservoirs, named for corresponding dams on the Gunnison River, that form the heart of Curecanti National Recreation Area. Panoramic mesas, fjord-like reservoirs, and deep, steep and narrow canyons abound.
The Lake Fork Campground provides 52 individual campsites for trailers/RVs. None of these sites have any hook-ups. There are an additional five sites that are designated for tents only.

Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables and grills are all provided at Lake Fork Campground.

Reservations: Reservations for Lake Fork Campground can be made by calling 1-877-444-6777.

Best Time To Visit: Lake Fork Campground is open year-round, but water is only available during the summer months.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: Premium sites have a 14 consecutive day stay maximum in a 30 day period.

Directions: To reach Lake Fork Campground from Gunnison: Travel 27 miles west on US Highway 50. The campground is located off the highway.

to reach Lake Fork Campground from Montrose: Travel east on US Highway 50. The campground is located off the highway.
