The East Marvine Campground is located within the boundaries of the White River National Forest at an elevation of 8,200 feet. This campground offers 7 individual camping sites within a grove of pine with views of the mountains. Horse trails and hiking trails are nearby. Maximum RV/trailer size is 50 feet.


Facilities: Restrooms, picnic tables, drinking water, and fire grills are provided at East Marvine Campground.

Best Time To Visit: East Marvine Campground is open from May through November.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: East Marvine Campground is accessible. Please contact the Forest Service for further information.

Rules: Pets must be restrained or on a leash at all times while in developed recreation areas.

This campground is located within the White River National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Directions: To get to East Marvine Campground from:

Glenwood Springs, drive west on I-70 to Highway 13 towards Meeker. From Meeker, drive east on Highway 13 for one mile, turning right onto County Road 8. Travel 28 miles on County Road 8, then turn right onto Marvine Creek Road (County Road 12). Follow this road for six miles to the campground.
Steamboat Springs, drive west on Highway 40, travel to Highway 13. Turn left onto County Road 8. Travel 28 miles on County Road 8, then turn right onto Marvine Creek Road. Follow this road for six miles to the campground.
