Rules: Unknown Directions: To get to West Peak Trail #1392 from Walsenburg: Go south on CO State highway 12 to La Veta. Travel State Highway #12 from La Veta to top of Cucharas Pass, approximately 16 miles. Turn Left on County Road #46 and continue on dirt road. for 6 miles to Cordova Pass Summit and trailhead to West Peak. Then hike 2 miles to timber line and from there it is another 3/4mi. Scramble to summit of West Peak. |
