| The Pinon Campground, located within the Lathrop State Park, provides 75 individual campsites for trailers/RV's. About three-quarters of these sites do have electrical hook-ups.Colorado's first state park, Lathrop is 1,594 acres of recreational enjoyment. Lathrop State Park's gentle climate, clear air, beautiful campsites, excellent fishing, water skiing and great views of the nearby mountain ranges lure Colorado travelers and other visitors to the park for regular visits.The park has two lakes, Martin Lake and Horseshoe Lake, which offer a variety of boating and angling opportunities. A nine-hole golf course at the park is also popular.
