Marshall Park Campground is located adjacent to Colorado Highway 149 and the Rio Grande River for easy access to through travelers and it is the closest Forest campground to Creede. The sun hits most of campground in the late morning, which means cool morning temperatures. The road is blacktopped through the campground and some spurs and pull-throughs are also paved. Maximum trailer length is 30 feet.
The facilities include 16 sites with parking spur, table and fire ring. Drinking water is provided with a well and is closed after Labor Day. Garbage cans are centrally grouped and available for use until Labor Day. There is a sink water disposal facility. Campground hosts are stationed here. Firewood is not provided.
This is a very popular campground and is heavily used. It tends to remain full from mid-June through August.


Facilities: Restrooms, picnic tables, drinking water, and fire rings are provided at Marshall Park Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Marshall Park Campground is open from May through September.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is accessible for disabled persons. Please contact the Forest Ranger for further information.

Rules: This campground is located within the Rio Grande National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Directions: To reach Marshall Park Campground from Pagosa Springs, travel northeast on U.S. Highway 160 to State Highway 149. Take State Highway 149 west to Creede. From Creede, travel seven miles west on Colorado Highway 149 to Forest Development Road # 523. Take Forest Road # 523 one mile to campground entrance.
