Best Time To Visit: Tucker Ponds Campground is open (generally) from May through October. Fees: An overnight camping is charged. Accessibility: This campground is accessible for disabled persons. Please contact the Campground Host for further information. There is a handicapped accessible trail into Lower Tucker Pond from the parking lot and a handicapped accessible toilet is also provided. Rules: Maximum length of stay is 14 days. This campground is located within the Rio Grande National Forest; forest regulations apply. Directions: To reach Tucker Ponds Campground from Pagosa Springs, travel north on US-160 to South Fork. From South Fork, take US Highway 160 west for 13 miles, then turn left onto Forest Service Road 390 (Pass Creek Road) and proceed 2.5 miles south to the campground.
