Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted to hike Tewksberry Trail. Best Time To Visit: Tewksberry Trail is open April through November. Fees: There are no fees charged to hike Tewksberry Trail. Accessibility: This area is not handicap accesible. Rules: There are a variety of rules to consider when visiting a National Forest. Please contact the local Forest Ranger for more specific information. Directions: To get to Tewksberry Trail from (west)Pagosa Springs (east)Alamosa, drive north on US-160, to South Fork. From South Fork, take US Highway 160 two miles west of South Fork on Beaver Creek Road (Forest Development Road 360). Turn right at Beaver Creek Campground access Road and follow it for 1/2 mile to the corrals. The trail goes uphill south of the corrals. |
