South Rim Campground offers 88 sites in oak-brush forest. Vault toilets, tables, and grills are provided. Water is available mid-May to mid-October. 30 amp electrical hookups are available in Loop B only. All sites have a maximum 14 consecutive day stay in a 30 day period. Vehicles greater than 35 feet are not recommended.

Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables and grills are provided at South Rim Campground.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted at South Rim Campground.

Best Time To Visit: South Rim Campground is open year-round.

Fees: Admission fees and camping fees do apply.

Accessibility: The South Rim provides an accessible Visitor Center, comfort stations and 2 accessible camping sites. Accessible overlooks include Tomichi Point, Chasm View, and Sunset View.

Rules: There are a variety of rules to consider while camping in a National Park. Please contact the Park Manager for further details.

Directions: To get to South Rim Campground from Montrose: The South Rim is located 15 miles east of Montrose, via US Highway 50 and CO Highway 347.
