Fees: There are no fees to enter a State Wildlife Area. There are fees to obtain fishing and hunting licenses. Please contact the Denver office for further information. Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible. Rules: Fishing prohibited from boats Nov.1 through last day of waterfowl season. Fishing prohibited in outlet canal as posted. Minimum size for fish is 15 inches long. Boating prohibited if it creates a whitewater wake.Camping, paintball shooting, horseback riding, fires, bicycling, sailboards, and sailboats prohibited.Discharging firearms or bows prohibited except when hunting prohibited.Public access prohibited in heron nesting closure area as posted.Dog training prohibited except Sept.1 to last day of waterfowl season.Users of wildlife areas are reminded to check current hunting, fishing, and land use regulations when planning any type of recreational use in this State Wildlife Area.Directions: To reach Lonetree Reservoir State Wildlife Area from Fort Collins, travel south on US Highway 287 and take a right to Campion.
