Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted to use Boedecker State Wildlife Area.

Best Time To Visit: Boedecker State Wildlife Area is open year-round. Public access is prohibited from one hour after sunset to one hour before sunrise daily except for fishing or when authorized by a night hunting permit.

Fees: There are no fees to enter a State Wildlife Area. There are fees to obtain fishing and hunting licenses. Please contact the Denver office for further information.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Boating is prohibited in a manner that creates a white water wake. Fishing is prohibited from boats from November 1 through the last day of the migratory waterfowl season. Horseback riding, sail surfboards, fires, camping, and paintball shooting is prohibited. Discharge of firearms or bows is prohibited except when hunting. Users of wildlife areas are reminded to check current hunting, fishing, and land use regulations when planning any type of recreational use in this State Wildlife Area.

Directions: To reach Boedecker State Wildlife Area from Loveland, go 2 miles west on First Street to County Road 21, then 0.5 miles south (left) to the reservoir.
