Watson Lake State Wildlife Area is well developed and has a park like feel. It is in transition from a put-and-take fishery to a cool water fishery. Smallmouth bass, tiger muskies, and saugers are catchable here. Other populations of fish are expected to be added, also. Fishing is from shoreline and belly boats only.
