Telluride Historical Museum

Established in 1965 as the San Miguel County Historical Society, the Telluride Historical Museum has been devoted to the education and preservation of regional history for over 34 years. The museum is housed within the old Miner's Hospital building, constructed in 1888 as one of Telluride's first public structures.

Facilities: Restrooms and a gift shop are provided at Telluride Historical Museum.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed for the Telluride Historical Museum.

Best Time To Visit: Telluride Historical Museum is open from Tuesdays thru Saturdays; noon - 5 pm

Fees: An admission fee is charged at the Telluride Historical Museum.

Directions: To get to Telluride Historical Museum from Telluride: From Highway 145 travel east to South Fir Street, and then head north for three blocks. Turn left to the museum.
