| Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Frank State Wildlife Area. Reservations: Reservations are required for waterfowl hunting at Frank State Wildlife Area. A drawing is held in mid-October. Best Time To Visit: Frank State Wildlife Area is open year-round. Fees: There are no fees to enter a State Wildlife Area. There are fees to obtain fishing and hunting licenses. Please contact the Denver office for further information. Accessibility: This area has limited handicap accessibility. Rules: On Frank easement ponds (north and south) all smallmouth and largemouth bass possessed must be 15 inches in length or longer. Discharge of firearms or bows is prohibited except when hunting. Fires are prohibited. Hunting is by shotguns or bows only. Users of wildlife areas are reminded to check current hunting, fishing, and land use regulations when planning any type of recreational use in this State Wildlife Area. Directions: To get to Frank State Wildlife Area from Fort Collins, take I-25 at the Windsor exit, go 2.3 miles east on Colorado Highway 392 to County Road 13, then 1/2 mile south. Parking is along County Road 13. |
