Frank State Wildlife Area

The Poudre River, at Frank State Wildlife Area, runs through this State Wildlife Area. There are several ponds that offer fishing for catfish, largemouth bass, and other warm water species. Housing subdivisions are threatening the hunting of waterfowl at the pond and it might be prohibited in the future. The back ponds are quieter and receive less attention from nearby residents walking their dogs. Deer, rabbit, squirrel, prairie dogs, pheasant, dove, and waterfowl can be watched in this area.
