Fish Creek Trail #1009 goes into the Comanche Peak Wilderness. The trail comes out at the Beaver Creek Trailhead just west of the Tom Bennet Campground. It also connects to the Little Beaver Trail, and is normally passable in the spring.
This trail has been rated moderate. Elevation ranges from 8,000 to 9,000 feet on this 6.1-mile (one way) trail.
