Douglas Lake State Wildlife Area

Douglas Lake State Wildlife Area is the largest State Wildlife Area in the farmlands north of Fort Collins. It is just 7 short miles north of the city. Douglas Lake is stocked with 10 inch hatchery trout. It also has fair fishing for smallmouth bass and yellow perch. Waterfowl is the only watchable wildlife in this area.
