Daniels Park

Florence Martin donated Daniels Park to the City in two parcels. The first 40-acre area at the shelter house was given in 1920. The remainder of the 1000.65 acres was donated in 1937. Most of the park is a bison preserve and natural area where visitors can view the animals in a high-plains habitat. The shelter house and picnic areas offer some of the best views of the mountains that can be seen from the metro area.
