Jerry Creek Reservoirs State Wildlife Area

Because the two reservoirs in Jerry Creek Reservoirs State Wildlife Area provide drinking water to the residents of Grand Junction, public use is a sensitive issue, to say the least. These two secluded reservoirs lie behind two tall dams that plug up a deep gulch just above the Plateau Creek. Largemouth bass and bluegills are the best fish to catch here. This is a catch and release area.
