 | | Christo Campground, located within the Rifle Gap State Park, contains two individual campsites designed for trailers/RV's. None of these sites have hook-ups.At an elevation of 6,000 feet, Rifle Gap State Park has something to offer every outdoor enthusiast. The clean, clear waters of this 350 acre reservoir afford some of the best scuba diving, boating, swimming, water-skiing and windsurfing in Colorado.Camping, hiking and picnicking opportunities at this 1,305-acre park also await the Rifle Gap State Park visitor. Even golfers can pursue their sport here, teeing off on the 18-hole course that lies adjacent to the area. The fun doesn't stop in the wintertime, when ice fishing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are available for the cold-weather buffs.Rifle Gap is close to many ski areas, only 40 miles from Glenwood's famous hot springs, and home to a variety of wildlife, including deer and elk. |
