Yucca Flats Campground, centrally located within the Lake Pueblo State Park has quickly become one of the prime recreation destinations in Colorado. Known widely by sun-lovers and water-sports enthusiasts for its 4,646 surface acre reservoir, the park also offers 400 campsites spread throughout its 9,600-acre park.
Whether visitors want to boat, water-ski, sail, swim, fish, camp, hike, or just relax, Lake Pueblo has something to offer for everyone. The park offers two full-service marinas, two boat ramps for easy boating access, prime fishing waters, plenty of camping with or without electrical hook-ups, a swim beach with a five-story waterslide, a visitor's center with fun displays and gift shop, as well as hundreds of picnic tables.
This campground is mainly for trailers/RV's, although tents are permitted to camp here. All 87 camping sites have electrical hook-ups. This campground is located next to the Pueblo Reservoir.

Facilities: All 87 campsites at Yucca Flats Campground are provided with picnic tables, drinking water, and fire rings. Restrooms are close by.

Reservations: Lake Pueblo's campgrounds fill to capacity nearly every weekend between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Reservations are a must on holiday weekends and recommended any summer weekend.

Best Time To Visit: Yucca Flats Campground is open year-round.

Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be incurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Visitors should contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for them.

Accessibility: Campsites 128 and 179 have been designated for disabled persons.

Rules: Place permit in the pole marker at the site.

No wood cutting, gathering, or collection inside the Park. Firewood is for sale at the Ranger Stations.
Camping permits expire at noon - failure to vacate or renew is subject to a $25 fine.
Be considerate. Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10pm - 6am.
Since rules may vary depending on which park guests choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply.

Directions: To get to Yucca Flats Campground from Canon City, take I-25 to Pueblo, then US 50 west, for four miles. Turn south on Pueblo Boulevard and go four miles to Thatcher Avenue. Turn west and drive six miles to the park.
