| Facilities: Restrooms and drinking water are provided at Witcher Cove Campground. Other facilities can be found within the State Park. Reservations: Reservations are accepted at Witcher Cove Campground. Best Time To Visit: Witcher Cove Campground is open year-round. Water systems are shut down between October 1st and May 1st each year. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be incurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Visitors should contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for them. Accessibility: There are three wheelchair accessible campsites (North Shore site #39 and Rocky Ridge sites #1 & 2). The Rocky Ridge sites are also electrical and located adjacent to the wheelchair accessible Camper Services building. Wheelchair accessible vault toilets are also located next to North Shore site #39 and in the amphitheater parking lot. Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park guests choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply. Directions: To get to Witcher Cove Campground from Denver: Drive south on I-25, turn right on to US 24. Witcher Cove Campground is 38 miles west of Colorado Springs on US 24 to one mile west of the town of Lake George, then turn left (south) on County Road 90 and drive for six miles to County Road 92. Continue south on 92 for five miles to the park. |
