Williams Creek Reservoir State Wildlife Area measures 343 surface acres. This reservoir is maintained by annual stocking of fingerling Emerald Lake rainbow/natives, & kokanee salmon fry when available. Brook trout maintain their population by natural reproduction.

Facilities: Restrooms are provided along the west shore of Williams Creek Reservoir State Wildlife Area.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted to visit Williams Creek Reservoir State Wildlife Area.

Best Time To Visit: Williams Creek Reservoir State Wildlife Area is open year-round.

Fees: There are no fees to enter a State Wildlife Refuge. There are fees to obtain fishing and hunting licenses. Please contact the Denver office for further information.

Accessibility: This area has limited handicap accessibility.

Rules: Users of wildlife areas are reminded to check current hunting, fishing, and land use regulations when planning to use an area for any purpose.

Directions: To get to Williams Creek Reservoir State Wildlife Area from Pagosa Springs, travel 3 miles west on US Highway 160, then 30 miles north on Forest Service Road 631.
