Public access is limited to the fenced area along the river.Directions: To get to Verner State Wildlife Area from Steamboat Springs: Drive east on US-40, turn right on CO State Highway 40, travel to Walden. From Walden, travel five miles west on County Road 12W to County Road 18, then 0.5 miles west to the access road on the right. |
