US Hwy 50 to Marshall Pass

Us Hwy 50 to Marshall Pass is a sections of The Colorado Trail that follows the Fooses Creek road for about 3 miles passing by Fooses Reservoir. Bathroom facilities are available just past the reservoir. From the reservoir continue following the road to the trailhead at South Fooses Creek.
The elevation gain from South Fooses Creek to Continental Divide is substantial. Once atop the Divide, the trail rises and falls gently towards Marshall Pass.
This is a moderately difficult 14-mile trail, with elevations ranging from 8,800 to 10,840 feet.
