Steamboat Lake Touring Center, located within the Steamboat Lake State Park, measures 9.0 miles long and is rated "easy-moderate". The elevation of this trail is 8,200 feet and it sees low usage.
Nestled at the base of Hahn's Peak in northern Colorado, Steamboat Lake State Park offers scenery and plenty of recreational opportunities. One of the most popular areas in the state, Steamboat Lake is a park for all seasons.
Premier fishing, camping and boating are available along with a full-service marina and swim beach. Mountain peaks, green valleys and alpine wildflowers make the park available year-round. Winter comes alive at Steamboat Lake with ice fishing, cross-country skiing and access to 60 miles of prime snowmobiling trails.

Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, picnic areas, and over 180 campsites are available at Steamboat Lake Touring Center.

Reservations: Reservations at Steamboat Lake Touring Center for the campsites may be made for May 28 through September 30 from six months to three days before your arrival. Before and after those dates, camping is on a first-come first-served basis.

Best Time To Visit: Steamboat Lake Touring Center is open year-round.

Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be incurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Visitors should contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for them.

Accessibility: This trail is not accessible.

Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park guests choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply.

Directions: To get to Steamboat Lake Touring Center from Steamboat Springs, go west two miles on US 40 to County Road 129. Turn north and drive 26 miles.
