Reservations: Reservations for Steamboat Lake State Park may be made for May 28 through September 30 from six months to three days before visitors' arrival. Before and after those dates, camping is on a first-come first-served basis. Best Time To Visit: Steamboat Lake State Park is open year-round. Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be incurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass.
