St. Vrain State Park features 60 campsites, great fishing for rainbow trout, catfish, crappie and bass, and excellent bird watching for waterfowl and many other species.
In the shadow of spectacular Long's Peak, St. Vrain State Park is a quiet retreat located between Denver and Fort Collins off I-25. The four ponds in this popular park boast some of northern Colorado's best warm-water fishing.
The park is also home to many beautiful and entertaining waterfowl and wildlife. During the winter, St. Vrain serves as a home to bald eagles. St. Vrain, just 30 miles north of Denver, is convenient, quiet and charming.

Facilities: Restrooms, drinking water, picnic areas, and over 40 individual campsites are available at St. Vrain State Park.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted for the campsites at St. Vrain State Park.

Best Time To Visit: St. Vrain State Park is open year-round.

Fees: There are a variety of fees that can be incurred when entering this state area, from a daily walking pass all the way to an annual vehicle pass. Visitors should contact this State Recreation Area to find the plan best for them.

Accessibility: St. Vrain has four universally accessible fishing piers complete with accessible parking areas for people with disabilities.

Rules: Since rules may vary depending on which park guests choose to visit, please check with the Park Manager for any other rules that may apply.

Directions: To get to St. Vrain State Park from Denver: Exit I-25 on Colorado 119 west through Boulder, then north on County Road 7 until it ends into County Road 24 1/2. Turn right to the park entrance.
